Tree of death

i killed a talking tree that slowly inched towards me every midnight, trying to escape its prison to get me. It was very menacing and eerie. I killed her with laundry detergent. Probably lean actually. Just silent and a shadowy face, expressionless whenever i came into its field of view. It was underground in a temple too. I think people visited her and she was kind to them, but no matter the time of day, if it saw me it just clipped towards me. I had t kill her because the temple was giving way and she was going to destroy my family line.
