wood/sand/snakes

i was on the beach but i was facing the sand. it was a light yellowish tan color. it was bright and sunny. there were people laying out but they didn't move. in fact, they were half buried to where i could only see legs and arms. these legs and arms turned into wood. there was also wood logs as well. i was amazed at how similar they both looked. everything was still. that is until i saw a snake. prior i had noticed other snakes as well. none budged. they also looked like wood, or wrinkly, and one of them slithered by me. it started to slowly wrap itself around me. i didn't really panic within although i was fully aware that this snake was poisonous. sure enough it spewed venom i believe on my arm and i saw him slowly opening his mouth, showing me his fangs before diving in. i woke up before i was able to tell if it killed me or poisoned me.
