Corner store and costumes

In my dream a bunch of people were going around in costumes and I was meant to go out for dinner with some of the cast of modern family . I went to this corner store and spent a long time chatting with the lady who works there about switching from Halloween to Christmas. In a way some of this dream makes sense- I finished a report on gothic Halloween costume and watched an episode of modern family right before bed.
