Stand by Me/Toy Soldiers

This was like a Stand by Me and Toy Soldiers mix. I was with Chris Chambers and we were holding guns, watching adult men fight on a beach nearby. Normandy, I thought, like in the movie. Chris and I hid behind a pier, to afraid to fight. Suddenly, a man was shot and fell backwards. I knew instantly it was Chris's dad. He turned to me in tears and started to bawl. I didn't understand how one could cry over the death of a parent they didn't even like. After all, Chris's dad beat him. But, Chris kept crying. I held him and came to the conclusion that it was still his Dad. Who would take care of Chris now?
