Demon/Devil screaming in my ear

This was a couple weeks ago but I think about it a lot. So basically the whole dream felt super long and I can’t remember that much anymore but during the dream I was really scared because I could feel a presence and I knew it was the devil. So I was trying to distract myself in the dream and not be scared and that lasted for a while. Suddenly the demon/devil screamed in my ear standing behind me and it was the weirdest and scariest scream. But it felt like the purpose of the scream was literally just to scare me or let me know that he knows I was scared. The second he screamed in my ear I woke up and my whole body jumped like I was pushed out of the dream. In most dreams when something is too scary I can push myself out to wake up if I can’t take it, which happens a lot. The worst part of it all was that when I woke up my ear hurt and was like kind of ringing as if someone really did scream in my ear. I held my ear and was so terrified. It wouldn’t have been as bad if I didn’t literally feel it when I woke up. I would’ve thought nothing of it. Now I think about it a lot although I don’t want to. I’m wondering if anyone has any thoughts on why this happened and if it actually was a demon. Please respond!!!
