Durbanville

Late at night I found myself at a bar in Durbanville. I wanted to go home but I didn't have airtime on my phone to call an uber. I was so worried because I knew there was no way I could walk. It was too dangerous. I was standing outside trying to figure out what to do when a young Indian guy came out and asked me if I'd like a ride home. I was so relieved and told him I didn't have any money on me. He said not to worry about it because Sue had given him enough for a taxi and he wanted to pay it forward. He randomly gave me a cap and we shared a taxi. It was so dark where we were but as we were driving it became lighter and lighter until it looked like daytime even though it was in the middle of the night. We were freaked out. And then I arrived at my mom's house and I was talking to her about the weird light/dark phenomenon.
