Pirate train bridge

It started out to be a movie I was watching with my family, although it was anything but pirates of the Caribbean. There were a few pirates singing aboard their ship, mentioning something about their captain, "Anna Lee Lan." Soon, the song was over and I was helping the first mate fix a bridge for their train to cross. Yup, the ship was now a train. After me and several other volunteers fixed the rotating bridge by slapping a few flat pieces of wood on top, the first mate gave out scores to each and every one of us. Even though I got fourth place, he later came back to take me in as his apprentice in the martial arts. ...then I woke up, thoroughly confused.
