I beat a series of 8 Sonic games that all tied together, each with their own boss in an arcade on a school trip of sorts. FYP people were there and everyone hated me, but I rule at video games so I totally showed those philosophical punks. If you got 6 wins of any of the games you technically won. Most people only went for a few of the easiest 4 games, but I did all 6 with enough time left for a grand slam. There was a weird cutscene with a bunch of Sonic characters and zooming through the sky. I passed out at the end of the cutscene and woke up in the arcade alone and without the group. I was a little drowsy, confused, and concerned I had no way to leave. I also had a mysterious gross bloody wound on the back of my left hand. Something was stuck in it that looked like part of the wound, but it also could have been an object. Either way it hurt and dream logic told me it couldn't be addressed until later. I put $10 in the quarter machine and it gave me quarters at first, but they slowly turned to dimes and then almost to pebbles? And the machine gave me waaaaay more coins then anticipated. I caught them in my hands instead of a cup but they began spilling out of my hands onto the floor and I was extremely embarrassed. As I picked up the dimes and pebbles they turned into quarters and I got a cup. I had enough time left to play every game in the arcade, but the trip was very much over and the arcade was full of a few random customers. I had a stupid amount of tickets at this point and the arcade was close to closing. I had approximately 5280 tickets or more (specifically however many feet there are in a mile) from playing every game. I think this was a ticket cap of sorts that meant I could get something cool and go home?? I brought them to a combination ticket counter and claw prize machine (don't know how that worked). By this point, I had attracted the attention of some kids in the arcade with all my tickets. Also the other half of the arcade was full of outrageously drunk people. I helped one of them find and look at the only TV in the room, but he looked pretty bad. So I had a couple kids around me watching the thing count my tickets and we all knew for a fact I had more than enough to get to the magic number. But the machine kept jamming and I was growing frantic because the arcade was closing soon and I couldn't leave or get my wound looked at if I didn't get a ticket print out with the right number. I figured out the hand wound was a glass like piece of slow melting ice that mixed with the blood almost looked like a glass flower or some kind of jewelry. We got the machine unjammed, got the ticket slip I needed, handed it to the guy at the counter and the doors open for me! My mom was outside in her car and we drove home. But as soon as we touched the car we were in Kittery and I wanted to try the new stroopwafle drink at the McDonald's drive-thru, but we ended up inside the Burger King instead.
