I was working at a bar in the front of a government building. It looked like the reception for where you'd go for Capitol Hall. I was working the bar, and someone left leaving cash for their tab which I remember was $127. As I was working I was too busy to pick up the cash, but some group of three people walked past me from inside of the capital Hall, and an Asian girl walked over to the money picked it up and said "I'll take that." I quickly looked at her and said "you can't take that that's ours!" she kept saying things like "no it's fine I'll take that, I need cash." Then she walked right out the front door with the money. I got really upset and ran after her. She disappeared really quickly. I had to run all the way across two big hills and down to the road to catch up with her. She didn't seem to know that she had done anything wrong. I told her that I needed the cash back, and she said "no I'll just pay for their tab here's my credit card. I don't want to go to the ATM so I need the cash." I kept saying no I need the cash that's not yours to take, and she didn't seem to understand what I was saying. She was wanting to pay for the bill with her card but I was sure it was less than $127, and I knew she wouldn't tip. I took her credit card and her ID which said she was from Hawaii. I went to go talk to my manager cause I didn't know what else to do but I was pretty sure he was going to say don't let her leave we need that cash back. Then I woke up.
