The up highs and the down lows

I was driving up a mountain cliff. All I could see was ocean and 2 other mountains. I was up so high that the 2 mountains looked like clouds. Then I ended up in a house near my very bad ex. I wanted to please him and almost did until he left. Then he came back but was still distant.
