I suddenly found myself on a high dive, no shorter than 50 feet tall with unknown depths of a pool beneath me. is the water deep enough to dive in, or was it a trap? an audible countdown began. 5, 4, 3..., and there was 20 to 30 people near the pool looking up to me in anticipation. Despite my concerns and fear of highs, I jumped feet first, and it felt like I was in the air forever. When I finally hit the water, I let out a big bubble of air, and immediately started my journey up, not knowing how far I was under and how long it would take to reach the surface. when got to the top of the water, something bit my ankle and started jerking downward, trying to pull me into the depths. I kicked it off, hurried out of the water, and looked back to see a dark serpentine shape dissolve into the sea of navy. I took a look around, ignoring the audience, and noticed many fish. beta fish, sharks, eels... how did I not notice this?
