Syrian Assassination

I was on a school trip to Syria. Transport between cities was really scary because they had to smuggle us through streets of thugs who would shout and push around the last person through. We visited the Emperor's hotel. He was a very nice man but his advisor was extremely rude and dodgy. Later I found a group of people from an underground rebel organisation. They told me about how they aimed to make Syria a better place by assassinating leading forces of evil. At night, I saw one of their members walking towards the Emperors house, pull out a silenced pistol, and come back out a few seconds later. Then they kept going to other houses doing the same thing. The next morning it was revealed that the Emperor had disappeared/run away and his head advisor had been killed. On this morning we had to travel to a new city. This time, while going through the alley way, I was the last one through. The thugs were shouting at me and pushing me around but I was running between most of them and they couldn't get me.
