PD Intern

I took three weeks of vacation to do an internship with the Police Cyber Crimes unit. We were waiting for an analysis of a piece of code we had found. We were talking about previous law experience, and when it came to my turn, I could only talk about my experience qith the private corrections. I was telling my story about having to drive 50 miles with an illegal subatance in the car because the PD had not taken it when it tested positive. We were laughing when a higher officer came and posted a memo. One of the cyber cops got excited and went to the board. I asked the other what was going on. He explained that his partner had applied to be an FWC Trooper. The list of accepted applicants had just been posted. I quickly went to see if my friends name was on the list, and it was. I was going to text her, but my alarm woke me up before I could.
