Jaoanese Samurai Fox Spirits

There were 2 fox spirits: Kentarou the fire element had long fiery orang hair, green eyes, tan skin, and a mean streak wearing a white undershirt and red shirt sleeved kimono, and Jintaro the water element with long, straight, black hair, a pale complexion, blue eyes, a calm, elegant demeanor, wearing a white undershirt and blue long sleeved kimono. They are friends since childhood and learn the sword together. I become friends with Jintaro, and call him Jin. Growing up, Kentaro turns chaotic and the spirits imprison him in a painting. The painting has 2 sides, on one side it is Kentaro facing the front with a blank stare, and the other is of his back with his face to the side, shirtless and showing an ornate tattoo of a blue lotus flower taking up his whole back. I begin noticing changes in Jin: his demeanor changes from gentle to snappy and snarky, and he smirks and growls more often. We find out that Kentaro switched his spirit with Jin before he was imprisoned. I release Jin in Kentaro's body by crying on the canvas. It was raining, I took it out with me on the streets, and it was under me since it was life sized. Suddenly the chest under me became 3d, and it was him. He's out. He thanks me and we are inseparable. However, soon changes show up in him too and I no longer know who I'm with.
