Separated House

Dream from a few months ago. On one side of the house/room is me, on the other is this older couple. Both of our floors are elevated up and there’s a valley in the middle. The elevation represents a kind of barometer of energy, and on the side of the valley near the wall is a small platform that I can walk to to talk to the neighbors. They’re friendly but I’ve never been to their side of the house. Also on my side is a small wooden cabin and underneath is a trapdoor that opens up to a back door. It’s an escape route of sorts and opens up to the bigger world
