Complimentary Drinks at the Casino

I was on the way to the casino with my friend Kat for a comedy show. My boyfriend was driving himself and he was ahead of us on the road. I looked to the side because I noticed a car had driven off the road and was getting destroyed by a curb. The vehicle was getting all crunched up and the tires were popping off. I continued driving and noticed that to the left of me, another car got rear-ended and I assumed the person who hit them was too distracted by looking at the other car that got in an accident. We finally arrived at the casino right behind my boyfriend's car. Someone controlling traffic and parking at the casino let him through but then stopped us. I watched my boyfriend drive away out of sight. Kat and I were directed to park right there. We got out and were brought by another casino employee to a sitting area in front of a bar. She looked at our membership ID cards which said on the back that we were entitled to one complimentary drink each time we came. She asked if we wanted two complimentary glasses of wine from that bar. I said "No thanks, we're good," and then said more to Kat "I have work in the morning anyway." I was also thinking about how we were supposed to go to this show and that my boyfriend was probably waiting for us. Kat then said "What about these drinks that it says on our IDs we can get?" and I was like "Dude... that's exactly what we were just talking about." We then decided we did want to get drinks. She ordered a margarita and I can't remember what I ordered. The waitress lady then looked confused and was like "I don't really have a way of directly asking the bar since they're over there and I have to stay in this area... so I can try to fax them for you." We were both dumbfounded. The bar was like 15 feet away. Kat then said "That's okay, they can probably hear us from here," then screamed extremely loud, "ONE TEQUILA PLEASE"
