Regret watching Saw before bed

So last night my boyfriend and I watched saw for the first time. I enjoyed it.... until I had to go to bed. I had terrible nightmares- I kept waking up in different rooms and seeing different people dismembered and skinned in various ways. I woke up crying and ended up asking my boyfriend to turn on the lights for the rest of the night.
