Drove off the road and into the river.

I was in a car being driven by M in the same car we were being carpooled in. They made a wide turn through a short turn, drove off the road, and couldn’t stop in time as we approached a violent drop off into a river. They tried braking and the car turned backwards as we fell off the road. I said something sarcastic as we fell, then we hit the ground facing straight up.
