Me and my parents went to a talent showcase for kids, but they also taught you new talents to show off. We got there, but I didn't know what I was going to do. My mom saw this picture I drew, and showed that to the lady. Apparently, that communicated as meaning I wanted to do a daredevil act, with a ton of 360's and fire. Luckily, I stopped that in it's tracks. Instead, I told the lady that I wanted to learn how to serve pizza, in a showy way (like with flipping and stuff). She agreed. At the performance, a ton of people went. There were two boys with cellos who had a cello-off. One of them got news right before the performance that his mom had "made it". He cried happily throughout his performance. One after one they went up, and the showcase ended. I never got to go up. The lady told me there just wasn't enough time, and gave me a coupon for another show. We went to that one, too, and I told her I wanted to do the pizza serving thing again. This time I was first. But when they called me to the stage, a ton of kids went up to. The stage directors list was flawed, so he had this little boy named Sammy come up instead. Sammy learned the perfect way to cut pizza (which he didn't do right) and his show. I got to sit in my seat and watch everyone go up except me. The lady gave us another coupon and apologized profusely. But we didn't come back, not just because I didn't want to serve pizza anymore. ~ THE END ~
