Salt Flats

I was walking around barefoot in a random suburban neighborhood when I discovered a semi-flooded path leading away from the houses. As I followed the path, I started to run and skip through the water, which was ankle deep. I noticed small fiah darting around in the water, which was clear and glassy above the grass of the pathway. Eventually, after I'd broken into a full joyous sprint, the path depositted me in a flooded clearing full of beautiful lolling low flat hills that were poking out of the water. It all smelled like the sea and looked like a painting. I remember thinking, "Oh, this must be the famous salt flats."
