Dream within a Dream

I walked out onto the large stone overlook enjoying the ocean view from our coastline castle. Things seemed a little off... I then realized I was dreaming. I thought to myself, ‘So this is what lucid dreaming is like.’ I dared myself to jump off the overlook and soar into the air, but I hesitated. Activity on a nearby rocky island along the coast caught my attention. There were armored men constructing something. Letters spelling out a name... or the name of a place, perhaps a declaration of their conquest. Something about the name resonated within me. I knew I needed to wake up to warn the others. I woke up and dressed. I found the others in the dining hall eating a lavish breakfast. I joined them and began diplomatic discussions regarding our current affairs slyly inserting the premonition I gained during my dream. It was obvious this was going to be a difficult battle to win. Time progressed in a dream-like way with feelings of dramatic turmoil and fuzzy details that I can’t quite put my finger on.... and then I woke up, for real this time.
