I’m on a cruise ship with Journey people. (It’s a lot of students and I know that I’m there as a leader so I’m assuming it‘s everyone from student ministry) Blake and Renee are sitting together having lunch, and Kailyn walks over to introduce me to a friend that she brought along with her on the cruise. It looks like she (Kailyn’s friend) has been introduced to a lot of people and she asks “so which one is the guy you wanted to get together with?” “Umm this guy” she says, pointing at me while looking away. Both of us blush and I’m at a loss for words. She grabs my hand, which for some reason has my phone. “Okay what you’re going to do is text me when we finish our journey stuff for the day and have our free time, and we’re going to meet at a restaurant for dinner, okay?” Suddenly, an Asian guy in a suit knocks my phone out of my hand, picks it up, breaks it in half with his hands, and walks away. Everyone is in shock. “I don’t know how you’re going to fix it, but I’m leaving the setting up of the date to you so you better figure out something.” She says. I start running around the cruise ship asking all of my students if they know how to fix an iPhone that’s been broken in half. One of them suggests holding the two halves together, and when I do they fuse back and repair themselves. Nice.
