Seeing An Old Friend

In my dream, I was at someone’s home with my family and my ex-fiancé. I didn’t see my family, but I knew they were there cause I could hear them talking. My old best friend that I haven’t seen in years, but for some reason have been thinking about a lot lately, walked into the home too. Our friendship ended a long time ago in a negative light. He walked in with his wife(?), his child, and his parents, who again, I didn’t actually see but I knew they were there. We looked at each other vaguely, but didn’t talk at all. It was as if we wanted to, but we felt like we couldn’t because our significant others were there and they knew our back story (he was in love with me and I never wanted to give him a chance cause I didn’t see him that way). After some time, he left and my ex-fiancé wasn’t in the room anymore. I’m not sure where he went, but he was gone. My parents said something about my friend and he walked back into the home again because he forgot something. This time, it was just us and we talked but I don’t remember what was said. I just know that I told him I tried to get in contact with him. And I didn’t feel hostility towards him or anything like I did the first time he walked in. I felt more peace. And then I woke up. I have no idea what it means.
