Can't remember my dreams

I know I have had elaborate dreams the past couple of nights but they're fading too fast to record and these bits and pieces seem dull. I write them in hopes they will trigger memory of more dream elements. Marlene said she would bring the paperwork to me to sign. That was so nice of her. I was relieved not to have to drive all that way and wear myself out. There were restaurants around me. I saw a map and I asked, "It that the place, which was one business with a number of outlets. I knew their Italian food to be terrible so I said no. *I'm reviewing this dream now and it is not familiar to me now. I have no recollection or remaining visions.
