The Mirror

In the living room against the wall was a mirror. Just a regular mirror, the frame made made of like, PVC pipe or something. A girl next to me, I'm assuming was my girlfriend, stuck her hand inside to my surprise. I stuck my head in to look at what was on the other side. Inside, there was a room with a shoe rack full of new looking childrens shoes. There's a doorway leading into another room, and I'm curious about what else there is. I was too scared to go in though, not sure of what could be hiding and how to get out. My girlfriend encouraged me to go in, but I told her I didn't want to go alone. At this point, I think we left the house. We were on our way to school, and my girlfriend was racing with a bunch of other kids down the street. She was somewhere in the middle. I ran along on the sidelines, cheering her on until we got to the school. We split up upon entering into the cafeteria. I went to get in line for breakfast, feeling a little nervous to still be in regular school (I'm almost 21 and in cyber school). When I get to the register, I see stuff like pancake covered bacon and pancake pops. The lunch lady said that they weren't serving lunch right now, and I told her that I knew that, I'm here for breakfast. She laughed a little and said, "really?" It made me start to question how old I looked to her, as everyone usually says I look about 12 to 15. I didn't get my breakfast. I don't remember anything in school after that. I remember getting home. Semi-ready to see what was in the mirror now, my girlfriend picked the mirror up, since it was oddly laying on the floor and disassembled when we got back. The mirror was gone until she put the pipes back in place and leaned it against the wall, to which is reappeared. I peered inside one more time. Then took my head back out. I made a note that the shoes all looked new, and she disagreed. I wonder what she saw or if she misheard me. She went in first, and I followed close behind. The room was lit by the natural light of the sun coming into the windows, though I didn't look out of them. My girlfriend seemed to know exactly where to go, going into a specific painting of a person laying in a lavish bed. I wasted no time in following her, she seemed confident in where she was going. Inside of the painting was an older black woman. I don't remember if she was fat or skinny, as she was laying under the covers in her bed. We all talked to each other, but I don't remember what about. After a while, a timer popped up, like it would at the bottom of a TV or phone screen when you're playing a game with limited time to make options. We took that as a sign to leave, saying goodbye to the woman and making our way out of the painting quickly. We made our way into a small cube-like room or elevator, crossing our arms 'Wakanda style' and chanting "Ko Ko Ko, Ha Ha Ha." It meant something, but again, I don't remember what. We started to get tired, me leaning against her shoulder as we started to fall asleep. I was honestly scared, thinking maybe I hadn't said it right because I didn't go to sleep right away and the timer was still ticking. It just took me a moment longer though, as my body likes to fight passing out. We woke up back at home. I don't remember much after that. We talked about trick or treating, but that was it until my dream ended.
