Racism

I was at my school for a program where a director needed actors to act for free. In return you would have something great to put on a resume. All day we did little short stories and the directors daughter was there cheering us on. For the last short movie of the night the casting call said they could only use people with African American descent. I went to do the first scene and I held the script so I could read it below me. There was a shadow casted across it but I could still read it. Then the director said "you better hold that thing higher so you can read it out of that niggers shadow." I was in shock and said that he couldn't say that. He said it was okay because he was Mexican and kept saying that word and was almost skipping around the set. So finally the other actors started to jump him and I got a few punches in too. Then his cute little daughter started to say it. I saw her skipping my way and the anger inside of me tripped her and pushed her to the ground. All the actors ran away in fear of getting in trouble. The next day we saw a movie cover with a old style looking masquerade mask with jewels and feathers. The title was "why you shouldn't say the N word." It was a video of us hurting the people who called us the N word the other day. Omg
