The show must go on

Went to a performance in a fancy theater with my family. It was a sort of combined magic and musical act, with pools of water throughout the stage. The host did card tricks, then at one point a huge snake or eel exploded from one of the pools, scaring everyone. Then a gigantic animatronic shark exploded from the pool, spraying water everywhere and biting the serpent. The shark popped up all over the stage. My dad jumped into one of the pools of water to try and take a selfie with it. Then the host approached a life size puppet of a blonde woman, that was swimming in one of the pools. The shark was circling her about to to eat her. Not sure what happened but the performance ended with the audience having to pet the shark to calm it down. I ran into the director of the shown outside and complimented him, saying that the show was like nothing I’d ever seen and seemed “like a dream” or childhood fantasy. He looked like a punk, but he seemed flattered by my compliment and rode off on a motorcycle. Later I was at another performance with my family plus other various people I knew. This one was on an outdoor stage and it was a Seussical concert. All the costuming and performances were amazing. I particularly remember the bird costumes and how they came out wearing old fashioned black ladies’ hats with huge brims. With their body language, they really looked like creepy birds. Sadly I ended up separated from my family in obstructed view seats, and at one point a huge animal parade float thing fell on me and almost suffocated me.
