I was in a classroom where we were making Jack-o-laterns. The pumpkins were huge, big enough to crawl into. They had a lot of different expressions. Then in the class we were told we each had to sing a song in front of everyone. Every person who went up to sing was really good and didn't seem nervous. I was thinking of a plan to get out of it - I would ask them if I could dance instead of sing. More and more people went up and I felt more and more nervous, wondering when I would get called and who to ask. I felt like it would be rude to get up when someone was singing. I finally spotted one of the teachers in a recording booth and I got to ask her. She said it was ok. I remember thinking a lot about what song to use and how to dance - it still made me a little nervous
