Fallout-esque dream

The dream started with my family in a state of panic. The threat of nuclear war loomed over our village and we quickly got packing to leave. It suddenly turned into a first person shooter and I’m killing soldiers preventing my family from leaving for some reason. Eventually. We found the closest embassy, which has the only plane in the entire village. We quickly ran towards the plane but everything turned white. Signifying that we’ve been hit. I woke up from my coma in an unknown post apocalyptic location. I’m greeted by some guy who ended up being my mentor. He taught me about the “mechanics” of the game I’m in and sent me on my way. I ended up discovering a mall that looked pretty damn good for a post apocalyptic setting. They had games, shops, grocery stores and everything you can imagine. I ended up spending so much time at the swimming pool they had there. I’m not someone who can swim irl lol. I also came across this video game store with a really overjoyed cashier. She started saying that I’m really familiar and she probably saw me before. I guess now I have to mention the role playing aspect of this. I had dialogue options on what to say to her. For some reason, there are WRONG options. And you’d have to redo the whole conversation again if you picked the wrong thing to say. So this ended up being a trial and error of sorts. I went back “home” and for some reason I had to pass through a metal detector thing. I kept repeatedly being told that contrabands weren’t allowed but I didn’t even know what contraband I had. So I ended up using the persuasion option. It worked and I went back to my steampunk style worn out room. I went to sleep and the dream ended.
