I was at my sister’s friend’s house in Roselle Park with her family. My mom, sister, and I were over their house for coffee. We were talking in the kitchen for a while and I then received a text from a customer who was interested in the Juicy Couture outfit that I tried to sell on Facebook. She told me that she was going to meet me after 6pm to pick it up. I texted her to pick it up at the catholic school that was down the road from the house I was in, and about 15 minutes later, I heard the doorbell ring. I looked toward the door and it was the woman who was interested in the Juicy Couture tracksuit. I gave it to her through a mailbox opening that was embedded within the door, and then the woman gave me the money. I charged $25 for the outfit, but the woman paid me $45. I didn’t realize the extra money she gave me until after she left, and I wound up keeping it after all. My mom then told me to not invite a random stranger to a house that wasn’t even ours. I explained to her that I told the woman to meet me at the school down the road and that she misinterpreted and wound up coming here instead. In the end, I was happy that someone finally bought the tracksuit they I was trying to sell for months.
