Part 1: I am Raven from Teen Titans, but young and alone in the Philippines. I meet a boy my age and he helps me out. He takes me to his home since I have nowhere to live, but his mom doesn't like me and thinks I am evil. To show her how my powers could be useful, I pretend to throw a fit and use my shadow powers to levitate a clay bowl to the air from the sink, smash it on the floor, then lift the pieces back into the air and reattach them as if nothing happened. All in seconds. She isn't pleased but instead fears me more. So does the boy. I tell him it's okay, and I leave. Part 2: I play myself, but high school age. I am on my way to the cemetery for All soul's day when I see Lester Abayon, a formwr classmate irl, getting off his moped and buying flowers from the vendors outside the cemetery gates. I wave at him but he doesn't seem to recognize me. I even speak loudly to say to my brother 'Hey, doesn't he look like Lester?' but he doesn't care. My brother and I enter the gates and after a while 4 monsters approach and start to try to kill us, one at a time, increasing in difficulty like a peon(skeleton soldier) to a boss level monster(like an orc and the boogeyman from nightmare before christmas had a kid) in a game. My brother tries to help but in the end I finish up all 4. We head to the exit but walk by a bunch of tough looking guys playing card games. We approach them, and I feel like I fit in with their vibe. Suddenly a group of 2 hot girls and a guy approach. The girls separate to reveal that it's Lester, and his eyes are on me. I feign ignorance. The tough guys are all over the hot girls, and Lester pulls me aside to talk. He says what my brother and I experienced was part of a challenge that we had unwittingly entered into earlier in the day when a friend offered us to pick from collectible cards that looked like heroes from online games. They wanted us to pick 8 but we only picked 4. Apparently the cards represented the bosses we had to defeat. Good thing we didn't pick all 8. Lester seems knowledgeable about this and has survived, so he suggests we stick with him. I guess now I interest him since he sees I can fight (although I did embarass myself when I threw a flat, middle eastern looking sword in the air after the fight expecting it to dissipate only to have it land near our feet, almost injuring us). I'm fine with this setup.
