Only a Dream

I don’t recall much of this dream. Of what I do remember, I was with my father. In reality, I have a horrible relationship with my father and his family. In my dream though, I was with him alone. We simply watched Bob’s Burgers on the television. He found the show very funny. As we watched, we would talk about not only the show, but other things that interested me. For once, he actually took interest in me. Soon, I woke up. Then I realized that it was only a dream and, in reality, I still haven’t seen or heard from him in years. I couldn’t help but cry.
