I was going to a production of a stage show and my friend Kenny was with me. The theater was unique because you would sit in a small moveable booth, and stage hands would push you to different areas of the stage during the show. As soon as it started, Kenny started talking. I tried to put my finger to my lips in a “shhh” gesture but he kept going and I just gave up. Eventually a girl we knew, Natalie, came out and started acting. Kenny got excited and actually started talking to her and interfering with the play, breaking the fourth wall. I was mortified. He talked to her and forced her to improvise fo a full two minutes before security came. Security swept him out the doors while he protested and complained, trying to get back in. They blocked him and dragged him into the lobby. I felt guilty but didn’t move. After that, something went wrong with the moveable booth we were sitting in and the floor lost all traction. The play was happening and I was bouncing all around the stage, like a DVD player logo does on the TV screen when it’s asleep. Eventually I was able to stop the booth with my feet. There was also something stressful in this dream about being lost in a European city and needing to find a train station.
