Horse Riding From North Yorkshire To Scotland

I visited a street near me where these people were waiting for me with a horse. I climbed into the saddle, and rode down the street. Despite being a complete beginner, having never rode a horse before, the people left me to my own devices on the horse. I decided to try making the horse canter. Somehow I ended up in Scotland, having begun my journey in North Yorkshire. I spotted the people who the horse belonged to, having left them behind in Yorkshire, and asked if they could help me find my way back without getting lost. They told me to follow them and I rode behind them.
