is this real life?: my battle with reality

So I've had types of dreams like this many times, but this one took the cake. I have dreams where I wake up in the normal setting I fell asleep in, go about my day and eventually something weird happens. In this case, I'd wake up, talk to my roommate and his head would fall off. This happens over and over and over to when I actually wake up it becomes very hard to determine if I'm actually awake. This last one I woke up and kept looking at my closet. Each time something would come out of it, whether it be a celebrity, a friend or some type of creature. During the 20-30 times this happens, I'll have sleep paralysis during some of my awakenings where I am actually awake and thinking I'm seeing things/talking to people (I know this because my roomates have asked who I was mumbling to) The last time I looked in the closet (actually asleep) I fell through the floor into a facility. As I walked around I met scientists who welcomed me as if I was suppose to be there. They told me I died many years ago and they had used my brain to see if it can function without a body and the only way to do so was through dreams. That dreams allowed the brain to function without a body and that I had been living like this for almost 4 years( I'm a grad student so all of college was fake). all my memories had been created by them and that when I woke up, It would seem as if it truly was a dream, but that it in fact was what was actually happening.....needless to say that messed me up pretty bad and has continued to change my view of reality
