“So, like Robocop?” “No.”

I’m working in a mall. It’s only just been built, and isn’t open to the public yet, and I work in maintenance or something. My job isn’t very clear. While I’m cleaning and bringing in boxes of stuff to shops, there’s these guys fiddling around with a box on the floor. They’ve always been there, and they have work ID badges so I’ve never asked what their jobs are either. Today I’m bored, so I do. They say that they’re building a safe alternative to mall security. Their big box will eventually disperse into little drones with flashing lights on them: green being they like you, blue being they’re neutral, and red being they don’t like you, if you’ve shoplifted or something. They take your photo and send it away if you’ve committed a crime in the mall. I say “cool, like robocop” and they say, “no, not like that at all.” A few hours later, there’s a malfunction with the box. Hundreds of tiny drones appear in the air, with red lights on. I run, down escalators and through shops, general mall stuff, and it cuts to my next dream. I’m outside my dad’s house and I have to go in to get all the art supplies that belong to my school. I had taken a few paints home to finish my work, and he was claiming that they weren’t the school’s and that they had to stay in his house. Mr Latto had told me I’d need to pay for them if I didn’t get them back, so I was at my dad’s house. I went inside (I don’t think anyone knew I was in the building) and located the paints and brushes in Reilly’s room, which had a complete Batman makeover. Which is not fair at all because her room has just been done up to this rose gold colour scheme, and Darcy was meant to get a cool room next. Also, she doesn’t even like Batman. I know that my dad has made it like that to make me jealous because I really love batman and that room used to be mine. I pack up all the paints and he realises I’m in the house so I run out the front door and into my mum’s car that’s waiting around the corner and she’s angry with me because I’m crying.
