I went to see my friend Alec. I think he was having issues with his girlfriend. While I was there he wanted my opinion on their fighting— who was right, what to do, what to say, etc., so he texted me like 30 screenshots which covered their entire fight they had over text. When I looked at my phone I saw they were all received out of order and it was going to be difficult if not impossible to figure out. I started reading them but kinda gave up. I was in bed with Alec and we kissed and messed around a little but he stopped after feeling guilty. I spent the night with him. In the morning we spent more time together. I eventually went outside and there was a toddler playing in the snow. I remembered I had a daughter and didn’t want her, and gave her to Alec and his girlfriend to raise her. The girl was sledding in the yard. I told her to be careful and started watching her. She tried to run into a neighbor’s yard to sled and I ran after her yelling at her to stop. She thought it was funny. She tried to sled down the neighbor’s hill but she fell and started crying. She was bleeding a little from her head. I carried her back inside and everyone agreed we should bring her to the hospital. Alec and I would go. Alec’s girlfriend was pissed, saying I’m a stranger, saying Alec wouldn’t get along with me, and then saying her daughter isn’t comfortable with random people. Alec argued that the daughter was actually comfortable with me. I argued that I had been good friends with Alec for a long time and we had never argued. The girlfriend and her mother ended up bringing the girl to the hospital. Alec wanted to show me an ice cream place in Derby. We parked across from a place called Monster Ice Cream. While we sat in his car I was able to look at the menu and saw so many good flavors. I asked Alec if his girlfriend thought she was the mother of the child. Alec said it wasn’t on purpose by him, that’s just what happened. He wasn’t sure how to go about the situation. He said I hadn’t ever been in contact with the child in any way so he hadn’t thought of any other option. He asked if I wanted to be in her life. I started to cry a little and said I really wasn’t sure and that I didn’t know either. We got out of the car. I said I was excited to try this place, and he said that wasn’t where we were going. He took us a different direction to a different ice cream shop nearby. I looked at their menu and it was like regular dishes except with regular ice cream on top, there weren’t different flavor options for ice cream. There was steak with ice cream, a burger with ice cream, bread with ice cream. I really didn’t want anything on that menu.
