Sea levels were rising at an alarming rate, sweeping cities beneath their depths. I kept running from them, almost being pulled into the raging ocean waters to drown. So I moved up to a small town on a very high mountain, where the waves would not reach me. The forest trees were calming, but my aching sides from running were not. I caught a breath full of fresh mountain air, but the next thing I knew it was dryer than dry. I looked around and saw that all of the water was drying up. I was walking on scorching hot earth, and it was only getting hotter. The air was crackling with an intensity I couldn't handle. A faceless man walks up to me in a nice suit and grabs my hand, leading me into a house. Out the window I see a city all aflame in the distance. And my own small town is now a bed of lava and fire, save for the house I'm in, which is just mainly stifling hot. The man stays in the doorway and doesn't speak, but I get the notion that he wants me to go sit by a bubbly woman and the kid beside her. I do and he turns to watch the destruction out the doorway. I'm horrified of what is about to happen, tears are streaming down my face and I immediately ask the woman in a soft and weak voice if I can go to sleep, because I don't want to be awake when it happens. She smiles, nods, and lets me lay my head on her lap. I fall asleep at once, and when I "wake up" (still asleep) I'm in the city in an apartment several floors up and everything is fine.
