Shadow?

I cant remember my dream so much aside from jumping into a huge swimming pool and eating at grandmas with my cousin. While I was falling asleep I kept hearing tapping and creaking noises. An hourish later I woke up, just opened my eyes and saw the shadow of some tall man looming over the side of my bed. I jumped up and turned the light on and nothing was there.
