Questionable roller coaster

I was with a group of dudes at some kind of theme park. There was a large red roller coaster that they wanted us all to ride. It did not have loops but it was very large and set over water. The carts were individual...not connected. I watched one slip off the track momentarily before reconnecting, which made me nervous. Then we all got on the ride. It went smoothly but it was nerve wrecking and the sun went down while we rode. I was nervous because i knew i was going to have to ride it a second time.
