Sleep paralysis

Am not sure about the day and date. But it happened in 2013 in my hostel room. I was sleeping at night time, while I was suddenly woke up and sees that a dark form was sitting on the table, the form looks like human figure or something am not sure, and it's close to my bed, and I was suddenly shocked and try to move aside, but I couldn't move aside, I felt that heaviness in my hands and body. I fared well and was suddenly close my eyes. Later I woke up in the morning, and everything in normal.
