Mud

Fathers house Driveway was pure mud Two dogs at our side Another at the neighbors That dog was very mean Hurt our dogs I played in the mud Tried to slide on some boards Someone came home Said they had been in the woods Met a moth like creature Got it to chirp and dance and sing It had red eyes and large wings I used a light from a broken board Tried to look into the woods I didn’t dare enter I was interested and curious however Not necessarily scared but not willing to meet it face to face Like someone who heard of a dangerous wild animal I wanted to see it but didn’t want to get too close I woke up very thirsty
