Lately, my girlfriend and I have been fighting, almost relationship ending fights where we genuinely consider breaking up. So OF COURSE I just woke up from a dream where we broke up, but were still kinda friends, and of course she went right back to her ex. For some reason I was still in her life and present throughout that first night as she went on this date with him. She seemed so interested in impressing him and she seemed as if she missed him. She kept adjusting her clothes trying to look good. I was with them that night (for some reason idk, it’s a dream) and they were being so touchy and he was treating her like a little cherub. Lulling her to sleep by whispering cute things in her ear. I remember thinking, “WOW they really always come back to their abusive ex no matter what”. This guy was soooo abusive to her and I can’t believe she gave him another chance. It’s one of those dreams where you just feel so broken and sad when you wake up. Please no comments about “she’s cheating, that’s why you’re having dreams.” I know she’s not cheating, but whoever deals dreams into the brains of humans really screwed me up this time around.
