My Date Wants Me to Pay for dinner

I remember spending a lot of time in public bathrooms in this dream and getting a lot of anxiety because the stalls were pretty much all full everywhere I went and I was afraid people were pooping, which I didn't want to hear so I tried to quickly exit. There was also a play going on outside, which either I became the director of or my grandfather was. I remember he said everyone needed to take their places, the show started at 7. I was thinking about the responsibility of a director to run a show and getting everything organized. Then in between trips to the bathroom, I remember sitting at these high tables that were up on these platforms with my aunt and my sister and we were just talking. Then I remember my workplace was holding presentation proposals, which I had not known about and they were about ways to help the blind. I walked in in the middle of my coworker talking about and just finishing his proposal on better transportation for the blind. There was a picture of a school bus on his PowerPoint slide. I don't really remember much else of that part except feeling awkward. The next part my aunt and uncle came to our door through our back door and they brought their dog they have irl, a Japanese chin and in the dream they also had another Japanese chin whose face was more characteristically scrunched up unlike their irl dog. I think this dog's name was Buddy and they had to try to encourage him to come in. I kept forgetting about that dog although in the dream I guess I had known they had another dog. The last part was me walking outside in the freezing cold winter weather at night, under dressed, trying to catch my ride somewhere. The public transportation vehicle I've used and the mini bus I used to take in high school both went up the road right behind each other and my mom was angry with me for being irresponsible and being late. I went out to my driveway and there was a sheet of ice across it and my legs became weak and I had no choice but to just crawl all the way and I was worried I wouldn't make it but when I finally got to the end, I looked up and saw the mini bus with its doors open and my old bus driver stepped into the entrance. She asked me if I was okay. That's when I woke up briefly before I fell back asleep and into the dream and I remember getting on the bus. The last part I can remember was being on a date to dinner with some blond guy and we had reached the end of our meal and the check came and it was facing him and I assumed he would take it but I was surprised when he pushed it over to me. I was like "oh you want me to pay?" He said he would pay me back $10. I can't remember if he had cash on him and he was just not able to physically hand it to me but was going to somehow electronically deposit it into my bank account or he was just going to transfer money from his account to mine, which for some reason, I was having a hard time grasping. I think that is what he was going to do but I do remember seeing money on the table. So I was fine with paying but I wasn't really sure what I was doing since the guy always takes care of it for me or of course, the adults in my family who take me out to eat like my mom and dad and grandfather and I can count on one hand how many times I've paid a restaurant bill. I knew I had to get my debit card out to put into the booklet but as far as filling it out, I was confused about where I had to sign and I signed my name twice at the bottom, once in front of the x and it somehow fit, and then my date told me I had to sign after the x and so I did. I laughed and he asked me what was so funny and I said this was the first time a guy hadn't offered to pay for me and I did appreciate it because it was sort of breaking those societal gender roles. It got awkward though when he told me I had to put my name in this top space too and I put my first and last name but he said I had to put just my surname and so I did but it came out messy and I kept trying to fix it to no avail and then I knew I had made a fool of myself because I didn't know how to fill out a bill. I talked to girls in the public bathroom that I went back into one more time and they said something about how he does that with all the girls, makes them pay.
