Late to play a concert

I was having issues getting dressed in time to make it to my own concert. I needed to clip my nails and dress in Indian fancy fabrics. I had a cousin helping me get dressed but felt frazzled. I was going to play a stringed instrument with 6 strings and a round body. It was probably an Indian instrument and I didn’t feel qualified to play it. I wasn’t very well practiced but I was hoping to still make it to the concert in time. Getting anywhere was difficult because I had to climb up and down precariously made wooden ladders in shafts. My friends would be there to see the show.
