My mom is dead

There's a deli right next to the music school I go to and I like to go in there to get a snack and drink before my lesson. In my dream I walked up to the register and the guy that's usually there was on the phone. When he hung up he looked at me and said "listen to me son, your mom passed away." Then I ended the dream by screaming in agony. When I woke up it scared the life out of me because I remembered she was getting surgery this morning
