Exploratory heart exam

I'm being forced to have am invasive heart exam without anesthesia. A camera/tube is inserted into my wrist and slithered to my heart. My mom is there and doesnt comfort me. I wonder why my dad/husband/friends are not available to be with me at this time. Im so frightened I'm paralyzed and shivering.
