Why is it always masks

I was in this weird theme park place and the workers (actors) were dressed as princesses and prince's and what not. I had said something about some of the actors being strange lately and then suddenly they all turned to face me and started walking towards me. Suddenly I was on top of some staircase. One of the actors handed me a mask but I didn't take it and started running down the stairs. I basically threw on a pair of roller skates as I left the park with them following me and eventually reached a house I thought I could hide in. But it had other workers there in ninja-like outfits and they tried to pull me to the actors but somehow I got them to stop (I don't remember how) Then I was running again with some long time friend of mine and we got caught but my friend started talking them on some odd language and convinced them to take off their masks (A dog, A cat, A bear, A bunny, A lion, A pig, and a Goat). They dropped the masks on the ground but before I could see their faces I woke up.
