Comic Con

We walk into the Comic Con building and we're in a shop. There are ironing boards on the wall, and I say to my friend (Alicia) "imagine going to comic con just to buy a washing machine" (forgetting the word for ironing board). We move left and go into the actual convention, where I eventually lose Alicia and group up with Cynthia. I recognise the stalls from actual Comic Con, but there is an extension on the left hand side. We go in. It is a darkened, small room, filled with video game things. There are Funko Pop figured being sold for £1.79, which is super, ridiculously cheap. Each Pop figure is on top of a copy of the video game it came from. I start looking at actual games, most of them being PS2. I find a copy of Crash Team Racing in a double disc box, and the cover says "PS3 + how to get on PS4!". Then I find a second, PS4 only copy of the game. I am counting money, as I wanted to buy two other things where the total would come to £30. The game was around £4. I borrowed a tenner from Cynthia, then twenty from Lizzy. I put the game back, went to the stall to buy two A3 prints, which is what I wanted to buy for £30, then changed my mind after picking up the book of available pictures. At some point after this, a friend invites me to play Crash Team Racing on the PS4 with him. I agree - we load up a game and quickly start to realise it's the exact same game, with only slightly improved graphics (I'm sure the original game came out in 1998). We complained. We saw a new feature though, where you would drive towards a jump, go over it, jump again then jump out your kart and swing round a metal pole and vault off it. I got stuck trying to do it as I had no momentum, and dropped from first place to very, very last.
