Secret Mission

We (me and others I don't remember, maybe my mom?) were trying to save a little boy from his mother who was some sort of abuser. She might have been trying to kill him or trying to kill us. We kept tricking her into thinking we didn't know anything while we collected clues, including an incriminating file that I hid under the seat in mom's car.
